City Quays Project Wins Prestigious RIAI Award

We are delighted with the news that “13-18 City Quay” Dublin, now the offices of leading firm “Grant Thornton” received a prestigious RIAI Award in the Category of “New Build Work Place.”

The building was designed by leading Dublin Practice Henry J Lyons and constructed by Bennett Construction. Both Specialist Joinery Group and Specialist Glass – supplied bespoke joinery, glass and metalwork products to this outstanding new build work place for CAT A & CAT B works. This scope included everything from bespoke branded concierge and welcome points, to sleek glass washrooms, sophisticated breakout and client entertainment spaces and bespoke metal and glass screens. This impressive 107,000 sq ft space is now headquarters for the leading business advisory firm who employ over 1,000 people.

Now in it’s 30th Year, the RIAI Awards are operated by The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland who are the Registration & Support body for Architects in Ireland and they also provide support for Architectural Technologists.

Grant Thornton Representative, Neal Taylor spoke highly of Specialist Joinery Group’s contribution to the success of their new office development in Dublin at a recent conference on integration and adoption of digital technologies within the Construction Industry.
