We are divided into small teams creating the perfect process for delivering quality projects on time and budget.
Sales & Estimating
Our market position has been enhanced by the collaborative working partnerships that we have developed with our Clients over many years. Our full time Technical Sales and Estimating team are always on hand to advise Clients on project costs. The process is to evaluate project design details, along with procurement and production timescales for any specialist items.
For consistency and Client convenience, the same team member will oversee the commercial surveying function of the project throughout its delivery.
Our materials purchasing and procurement team only use products which comply with our sustainable sourcing policy. Specialist Joinery Group are FSC® Chain of Custody certified (FSC® C109705) to supply products sourced from responsibly managed forests. We are also PEFC Chain of Custody certified to supply products sourced from sustainably managed forests.
We take every opportunity to engage with our supply chain to make savings and eliminate unnecessary costs. Like every aspect of the business supplier performance is closely monitored to ensure quality and responsiveness to our business needs.
Project & Site Management
Each project is assigned to a dedicated Project/ Contracts Manager. This ensures accountability and a single point of contact for the client. It is our standard practice to produce a programme for client approval, detailing lead times, manufacture, interface with other trades, health & safety and testing and commissioning. This ensures delivery of mutual objectives and that all relevant health & safety and environmental documentation is in place, in advance of our on-site start date.
The Role of The Project Director
All projects are reported upon at our weekly Management Meeting and daily sub team meetings. Every project undertaken by Specialist Joinery Group is assigned a Project Director, who will report on the project’s progress at board level and will act as a secondary contact to resolve any pertinent issues and will ensure that key milestone dates are met.
Founded on core business principles of quality, integrity and trust, we have worked hard to build a robust financial management structure in Specialist.
