Belmont House School provides a safe, welcoming, learning environment from Nursery to Senior 6. Noted for its small class sizes and roll of just 300 pupils, the school aim to develop each child’s unique talents and abilities through personal attention, a broad and balanced education and extensive extra-curricular opportunities.
We completed this project in a successful partnership with Henry Brothers, Scotland. The school specified our furniture through Anderson Bell Christie Architects Glasgow, after recognizing the suitability of our installation in terms of life cycle costs, quality and specification (fit for purpose.)

Complexities
New build extension, working a live school environment, required careful programming and coordination between the Management team at Belmont house, the Main Contractor and Specialist Joinery Group. Detailed programmes were agreed in advance of our on site start date and strictly adhered to.
The designer ABC Architects required a certain element of flexibility to be incorporated in our installation. We incorporated a banks of units within each classroom with height adjustability, to cope with change in demand for disabled access.
