We completed this project in a successful partnership with Queens Estates Department. The University accepted our tender after a long and detailed public competition which included site references to the Bar and Linen Hall Libraries. Recognizing the suitability of our furniture in terms of life cycle costs, quality and the capability and capacity of our factory to undertake a project of this scale within a two month time frame was central to the award of the contract.

Complexities
New build , working a live university environment, careful programming and co-ordination between the Management team at Queens and Specialist Joinery Group. Detailed programmes were agreed in advance of our on site start date and strictly adhered to.
The designer Shepley Bullfinch required power and light to be incorporated into our furniture. Many preliminary meetings fine tuned the integration of the services and involved in house expertise from client and SJG.
