Addenbrookes Hospital – Rosie Birth Centre was constructed, fitted out and commissioned in just 76 weeks.
The building layout includes 10 birthing suites complete with an ensuite, wet room, birthing pool, integrated folding bed, medical gas outlets, mood lighting and MP3 connectivity. The 28 cot spaces in the neo-natal intensive care unit (NICU) and 30 cot spaces in the sick children’s birthing unit (SCBU) were all provided with complex services including dual medical gas and power systems.
