Royal Hospital Chelsea

Since 1682 Royal Hospital, Chelsea has provided a magnificent home for thousands of army pensioners.

The building designed by Sir Christopher Wren is of great architectural importance.

We were responsible for manufacture and installation of bedroom casegoods to the pensioners living quarters.

The project was carefully and symathetically designed by Peregrine Bryant Architecture and Conservation to ensure it is in keeping with the overall development.

Sir Christopher Wren’s adaptable design has allowed the berths to expand over the years; however a more radical intervention was needed to ensure the continuing viability of the Royal Hospital today and into the future.
