Thanks to this, we have developed a safety culture from Director to Operative level, fuelled by efficient communication, recognition of commitment, training and promotion of representation.
As a company, our health and safety objectives go beyond compliance and government standards. By adopting a culture of continuous improvement and monitoring of performance, it is our primary objective to eliminate accidents through foresight of possible causes.
Specialist Joinery Groups Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system, enables us to provide a safe and healthy workplace by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as proactively improving our OH&Sperformance.
Our Quality Management System spans all phases of the project life cycle and sets out clear objectives at an individual, project and organisational level.

Relevant Specialist Joinery Group products have been tested by FIRA International Limited and were deemed to satisfy the performance of BS6222 Part 3 1999 and BS EN 14749: 2005 BS 6222-2:2009 – Level H.
This voluntary accreditation scheme promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators and we see it as a must have for our operations as it complements our continuous improvement drive and encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance.
SJG have been awarded CHAS Premium Plus standards in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK Health and Safety Legislation and has been awarded accreditation to the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015.
