Logistics & Delivery

Specialist have a fully resourced transport and logistics team with a fleet of vehicles. As an export focused business, we believe that our investment in logistics is what differentiates us from our competitors.

From the moment our products leave our factory, until they are delivered to our Clients they remain in the control of Specialist Joinery Group.  This also means that we can prioritise and plan deliveries to suit Client programme.

Delivery schedules are usually agreed with Clients in advance.  Items are typically palletised to facilitate loading and unloading by fork lift and to reduce manual product handling.  Goods for transit are wrapped and protected where necessary before loading. Wrapping material is fully recyclable.


Just In Time Site Deliveries

SJG operate a just in time delivery policy, meaning that goods are delivered to site, just as they are installed.  This policy means that our products are not left unattended on site, where damage is likely to occur.  As SJG have our own internal logistics and delivery team, we can accommodate site requirements where possible.

SJG also have substantial storage facilities at our manufacturing headquarters, therefore if site is delayed we can offer storage facilities at our premises.



Installation methodologies are tried and tested, but can be specifically tailored to meet the operational and technical intricacies of each project.

Quality benchmarks are set by the Contracts Manager and Site Manager on a daily basis to ensure continuity of quality.


As standard SJG prepare an O&M Manual and As Built Drawings for each project completed, which is handed over the Client team.
